Embase is a biomedical literature database which indexes more than 8,500 active journals, including 3,500 titles unique to Embase, from 95 countries. Embase includes abstracts from 18,000 conferences in a variety of biomedical fields. Content is indexed using Emtree, a controlled vocabulary, to facilitate finding relevant literature. It is recommended by leading Knowledge Synthesis organizations for Systematic Review research.

Building Update
Library student and public spaces will remain closed until early October. The renovations, begun in May, have progressed well, but there are still some items needing attention. In the meantime, the temporary Library service point operating in Library Annex classroom 235 (click here for a map) will remain open 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday - Friday.
