New Databases: Embase, HaPI, Trip Pro

The library is excited to share about three new databases to support the Faculty of Medicine and other disciplines. Use your UPEI credentials to access at the links below.

Embase

Embase is a biomedical literature database which indexes more than 8,500 active journals, including 3,500 titles unique to Embase, from 95 countries. Embase includes abstracts from 18,000 conferences in a variety of biomedical fields. Content is indexed using Emtree, a controlled vocabulary, to facilitate finding relevant literature. It is recommended by leading Knowledge Synthesis organizations for Systematic Review research.

Health and Psychosocial Instruments (HaPI)

HaPI provides comprehensive information about behavioural measurement tools, including those related to medicine and nursing, as well as clinical, personality, social, and developmental psychology.

Trip Pro

Trip is a clinical search engine designed to allow users to quickly and easily find and use high-quality research evidence to support their practice and/or care. Content includes more than 5 million documents, including systematic reviews and practice guidelines from around the world. UPEI's Pro subscription allows access to more systematic review literature, medical images and videos, advanced search tools and filters. A free version is also available; make sure you're using the library link to access all of the features available with Trip Pro.
